After coaching Division I golf programs for 25 years, Jay Albaugh founded Dormie College Links.  Coaching at his alma mater, Mount Saint Mary's University, Eastern Illinois University and the College of William & Mary, Jay's teams 20 winning seasons during his career.  His teams at each school sets numerous new records for season-low scoring averages and individual career low scoring.  He coached 24 All-Conference honorees, 10 team tournament champions, 13 tournament medalists, 3 Ping All-Region players.

His teams not only had success on the course, but also in the classroom.  While at William & Mary, his teams were consistently honored for being in the Top 10% of the NCAA's APR (Academic Progress Rating), including 8 perfect '1000' scores since the rating was instituted in 2005.  During the course of his career, he coached 40 GCAA or WGCA Academic All-Americans.

In founding Dormie College Links, I want to simplify the recruiting process for junior golfers.  The search for the right school and program can be overwhelming.  Over the course of my coaching career, I have seen what it takes to play at all levels. There are schools and programs that are the proper fit for all types of players.  Each client will get consulting and a program specifically designed for them.  Using my experience as a player and a coach, I will help guide each client through the recruiting process, from start to signing-day, helping them identify the best opportunities for themselves and realizing their dream of playing college golf.
